ALERT, SYSTEM INFECTED (Pink Variant/ Framed in Perspex)

Invader's work; " Alert, System Infected" (Desirable PINK/MAGENTA variant) was produced in a limited edition of 60 pieces and 5 Artist proofs. The screenprint shows a composition made of small square tiles resembling a mosaic. Against a background made of black tiles stands out a shape that looks like a speech bubble from a cartoon or comic book. Inside the bubble is an alien composed of Magenta tiles. The alien emits lines of energy that suggest it is talking or trying to communicate with other aliens. The alien character depicted in Alert: System Infected (pink) is inspired by the popular arcade game Space Invaders, created by Japanese video game maker Taito in 1978. The work was purchased at the "Prints on Paper" exhibit in 2021. This is the desirable pink/magenta variant. THIS COLOUR DOES NOT COME TO MARKET OFTEN! The work is in AS NEW condition.
