BLUE (Invasion Kit 11)

”Blue” (IK 11), is, without doubt, one of Space Invader’s most sought after Invasion kits. Released in 2009, from the edition of only 150, these have become increasingly difficult to find. The kit consists of 88 ceramic tiles; the “Invader” shows a playful “side eyed” glance. All tiles are in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. As stated previously, a small amount of glue can be seen between the tiles, as a result of very minor discoloration (extremely common with the older invasion kits). The kit has been framed to the utmost standard in a white shadow box with museum glass. These pieces rarely come to market and with small Aliases fetching close to (or into) the six figure range, this is an incredible investment opportunity. The last time “Blue” came to auction (Phillips, June 2023), it hammered (with BP) at $20,500. This is an incredible chance to pick up an early Invader mosaic in the sub $15,000 price range.
