Blue Skulls (Silkscreen Print)
APC ART is pleased to offer our global collector base an exceptional and rare silkscreen print by Japanese contemporary art master, Takashi Murakami. “Blue Skulls” was released in collaboration with the Cleveland Museum of Art in a highly limited edition of only 300 works. Each example is hand-signed and numbered by Murakami and carries both the Kaikai Kiki blindstamp and the Cleveland Museum of Art blindstamp—two hallmarks of absolute authenticity and prestige. Measuring approximately 15.75 x 15.75 inches (40 x 40 cm), this silkscreen is a breathtaking study of Murakami’s fascination with mortality, repetition, and color. In “Blue Skulls,” hundreds of overlapping skulls rendered in shades of blue, indigo, black, and white, punctuated with subtle bursts of color, create a dense, hypnotic surface. The balance between playfulness and darkness—a hallmark of Murakami’s “Superflat” aesthetic—elevates the work into one of the artist’s most striking explorations of life and death. Murakami
