Flows (Notorious B.I.G)

Included with the work is hand written thank you note from the artist signed; “ ☮️ Mark Drew”. Mark Drew is an Australian artist based in Tokyo, Japan . Drew is also the co-founder of China Heights gallery (Sydney, AU). Drew's narrative-based work takes on the format of a newspaper comic panel, replacing quotable rap lyrics for dialogue in his various iconic pop culture prints and originals. This work, released in 2021, is one of Drew's most popular (recent) works. Immediately after release, this work was selling for $2000/$2200 on the secondary marketplace. While all of Drew’s works quote iconic Hip Hop lyrics, ”Flows” uses a lyric borrowed from The Notorious B.I.G. who, by many, is considered the best rapper who ever lived (and is also one of the artist’s personal favorites). The work pictures Charlie Brown and Lucy relaxed, backs against a tree (the tree is dividing the two characters) with the lyrics ironically placed above them
