Learn to Obey

Classic, hand pulled screen print by Shepard Fairey, released in April 2014 . The print was released in April, ‘14 to coincide with ”Record Store Day ‘14” . The image was used for a limited edition album cover by the band ”OFF” which was lead by Keith Morris (formerly of the classic punk rock band Circle Jerks ). This Obey print is hard to come across (being nearly 15 years old), in addition; it is one of the few Obey prints that was not printed on ”Cream speckletone” paper. Shepard Fairey uses cream speckletone on 95% of the Obey screenprints. This work is printed on Bright White artist paper (300Gsm), which serves as nice contrast to the two color (Black and Red) screenprint. Hand signed by the artist in pencil (bottom right) and hand numbered from the edition of 450 (bottom left), this is a timeless, iconic Obey work. The print has recently been framed with archival materials and will come ready to hang (see last picture). It
