Toucan (Original painting)
Hama Woods; hailing from Oslo, Norway, has cultivated a reputation as one of the most talented female stencil artists in the world. Her works are instantly recognizable through her signature stylistic motifs; large scale murals in major metropolitan areas that (usually) consist of tropical birds, frogs and other animals in the forefront juxtaposed against walls of bright, geometric colors in the background. Woods’ works can be seen in metropolitan areas worldwide, she has taken part in countless, FALSE out solo as well as group exhibitions. Through her street work(s), screenprints (instant sell outs, usually released by Graffiti Prints ) as well as originals (such as this work) Woods has built a solid collector base. Her style is often compared to fellow Norwegian stencil artist Martin Whatson , with whom she has shared a studio space with as well as collaborated with on countless occasions. This work; ”Toucan” is Woods at her best. The
