Where the land meets the sea (Set of three signed lithographs)

Damien Hirst has been an omnipresent force in the contemporary art world , throughout the last four decades. Best known for his ”Spot Paintings” , Hirst’s work has constantly evolved since the early 1990’s. In the summer of 2023, the artist hosted an exhibition of his latest paintings; ”Where the Land meets the sea” (at Phillips , London). These paintings portrayed various points of view from the spot where ”The Land Meets the Sea” , in various British seaside towns. While some of the works were bursting with color; similar to Hirst’s “Cherry Blossoms”, others portrayed a more brooding tone; monochrome landscapes of stark white and bleak blacks and grays pervaded the scenery. For the occasion, Hirst printed and hand signed a suite of three lithographs; each representative of the various styles seen in the paintings.
