The Regiment Commencement Spartan Sword

About the Sword The sword believed to have been carried by King Leonidas, leader of the 300 at the battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC. This sword was used by the officers (lochagoi) and leaders of the famous Spartan infantry for close combat at battles like Thermopylae and Plataies. Its blade is made of high grade carbon steel. The sword comes un-sharpened and is roughly 32" in length. The Engraving The swords come with a deep cut engraving along the Forte of the blade. Please send the First and Last name of the SSP receiving the sword, along with their commencement date, to bwahl@apexenergygroup.com after placing your order. You will be sent a proof before the order is finalized. The name will go where the words "Sales Spartan" are on the sample sword. Please allow 8-10 business days for delivery.
