
BEGINNER TO 5K - Running Program
BEGINNER TO 5K is strictly a bare-bones running program. It will take a relatively fit, but casual gym-goer from not being capable of running all that far to being conditioned enough to competently run a 5K race. *NOTE* You'll want to develop an effective warm-up and cool-down routine based upon what you need.* FAQs: How long will it take? 12 weeks to race day in total and most workouts can be completed in 60-90 minutes including set-up, warm-up, workout and cool-down. Who is it for? This program is ideal for those who are looking for a refreshing way to get into running with simple, yet effective workouts. What equipment do you need? A good pair of running shoes, socks and MAYBE an endurance training specific water bottle vest & soft flasks.
