Ciné-club Totale Dérive was created during Charlotte Houette and François Lancien-Guilberteau’s summer of 2021 stay at the Studio of the South residence in Arles. Beginning with the desire to open the domestic space to the inhabitants of Arles, Houette and Lancien-Guilberteau invited friends or new acquaintances to introduce and screen a favorite film, transforming the residency’s studio space into an improvised cinema. Each programmer wrote a text about their choice, which the duo published in the form of a fanzine distributed at each screening. This book compiles the nine fanzines.
