Firefly PRO Waterbug Emergency Beacon
Description Firefly PRO Waterbug Emergency Beacon The all-new Firefly PRO Waterbug Emergency Beacon is a SOLAS-approved strobe light with an integrated water activation feature that turns on automatically when submerged. The LED emits a 360° beam of light with a brightness of over 41 candelas, providing visibility of over 3 miles. The Firefly PRO can run for over 56 hours thanks to its all-new microprocessor and energy-saving components. Flip between the armed mode for automatic water activation, the ultra-bright strobe light, or the SOS strobe to visually alert Search and Rescue of your location, then toggle to the Steady-On feature for close up recovery operations with the 4 activation functions. The cold white light has no yellow tinge, resulting in a brighter light beam that can be viewed from further away. The new wide light emission LEDs emit a 360° beam of light (41 candelas) with a visible range of over 3 miles. The Firefly PRO Waterbug Emergency Beacon delivers maximum operation life in the roughest of situations thanks to an energy-efficient microprocessor and updated components. The Firefly PRO can strobe continuously for over 56 hours or use the Steady-On mode for 28 hours on a single pair of AA alkaline batteries. This is more over 48 hours longer than the competitors and satisfies USCG and SOLAS criteria. For comfortable wearability, the new compact size will easily fit into an inflatable life jacket or pocket. The military-spec enclosure is resistant to years of misuse and the roughest situations. The two lashing loops and supplied Velcro strap make attaching the Firefly PRO to your life jacket, belt, or pack a breeze, ensuring that the strobe light is always within reach when you need it.
