Creation - INTERMEDIATE Workbook/Game (3rd-4th Graders)*

The activities in this workbook are designed to reinforce the lessons that are being taught this week in age-appropriate ways. The workbook contains both in-class and take-home activities for your students and is an important part of each lesson. Our study during VBS this week is on learning the differences between Creation and Evolution, and becoming more equipped to take an active role in Operation: Creation!Showdown in SpaceIn this lesson, your students will meet “THE L.O.O.N. SQUAD” [L.O.O.N. stands for “Life Out Of Nothing”] and learn why “The Big Bang” is not a good explanation for the origins of the Universe. What does the Bible say about all of this?   The Time TwistersIn this lesson, your students will meet “THE TIME TWISTERS” and learn what evolution teaches about the age of the Earth. They will also learn why this is important, as well as what the Bible teaches on this important subject.The Planetary PiratesIn this lesson, your students will meet “THE PLANETARY PIRATES.” They will examine some of the Earth’s evidence and discover why it supports Creation instead of evolution.  The BeastmasterIn this lesson, your students will meet “ABNER MAUL & THE MUTANIMALS” and investigate evolution’s claims that the animal kingdom evolved from nonliving matter. Does the Bible have a better explanation for all of these animals?  Behind the CurtainIn this lesson, your students will meet “LUCIAN THE EVIL” and realize that human evolution is simply not supported by the available evidence. The Bible teaches that human beings were made in the image of God, and this lesson will reveal evolution to be an illogical and impossible concept.   Also included with each students workbook is Operation: Creation–The Game: This deck of 49 cards (5"x7") comes in its own box and was designed to help your students take the education and fun that they have at VBS home with them. your students will LOVE these colorful, informative, and engaging cards!
