“The only thing anchoring me to this room and keeping me from fulfilling a sudden dark urge to strip the skin from his face is her. Her warm skin beneath my palm. Her scent lingering in the air, a faint note of cinnamon sugar and chocolate and a hint of spice.” -Scythe & Sparrow, by Brynne Weaver I will just start by saying that these two, Rose and Fionn (okay and maybe Barbara too) stole my heart and have dethroned everyone else in this series as my favorite. I ABSOLUTELY love everything about Rose Evans. If I’m being honest, I identify with her quite a bit. I mean, if I was going to be the Sparrow, I’d be terrible at killing people too. I was conflicted with how I wanted to approach this scent. She’s described in the beginning as having a piña colada scent, but that’s just because of the stuff in her backpack. Fionn described her spiced chocolate scent later in the book. So that’s what I went with. This might be the most unique smelling candle I’ve ever made. I tend to stay away
