Pin Cushion Moss

Prefers sandy soil, likes shade, but can tolerate some morning sun. This moss is a light blue/green color with a silvery-white cast when dry. Once moist, it turns a vibrant green.  It grows in a round cushion shape, and is shipped in various size clumps.Live pincushion moss will do well in sandy areas where the soil is a bit dry. The plant likes moderate shade; too much direct sunlight can dry it out but won’t kill it. It will turn brown with too little water, but it will bounce back once it receives enough moisture.
