Jeff White Blank #14 (Decorative Hunter)

This stout and sizable blade blank hails from the shop of Mr. Jeff White, a smith well regarded for the soundness and utility of his work. Forged of high carbon steel (ANSI 1095), the blade hath been tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 59 (HRC 58–60), and brought to a most keen edge. This particular blank: Possesseth a full tang and a flat-ground blade, well suited for rugged and regular use. The haft-end is shaped in the French manner, offering a familiar and time-proven form. Measures 12 inches in overall length, with the blade itself measuring 9¼ inches. The blade is ⅛" thick (0.125") and 1⅝ inches wide. Our hand-made Leather Sheath “K” is sized to house this blade securely and with care. This blank standeth ready to be hafted.
