
Intro to Bojagi and Patchwork
Explore two traditions rooted in reuse: Korean bojagi and Appalachian patchwork. Both practices are about making something beautiful out of what’s on hand. Whether it’s the delicate seams of jogakbo or the improvisational logic of Appalachian strip piecing, these methods invite us to slow down and see fabric differently. In this class, we’ll talk about the cultural lineages behind each, then start stitching—by hand, of course. No experience necessary.
