1932 PRESIDENT CALVIN COOLIDGE CHECK SIGNED  - $10K APPRAISAL VALUE ITEM DESCRIPTION:  This check was signed by 30th President Calvin Coolidge on July 28th, 1932, and was paid to the order of W. H. Lynds. It is an authentic artifact, and Coolidge has written on the document in blue ink. It is possible that this check was signed to the order of Florence Cilley, whose name is written beside Lynds’s on the back of the check. In 1932 Cilley was running the Coolidge’s general store in Plymouth, Vermont. This check is also significant because Coolidge died just over a year later on January 5th, 1933.
