Redein was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and studied at the Yale School of Fine Art. His work has been represented in dozens of prominent collections including the Whitney Museum, Cocoran Institute, National Academy, the Brooklyn Museum, and Ein Harod Museum in Israel. Although much of his work is considered to be secular, his is also identified as a painter of Jewish subjects, and is often sought after by collectors Judaic art. The painting is surrounded by a white matting and a gold gilded wooden frame. Framed, the painting measures approximately 30.25" inches wide, 22.25" inches high.
