With beautiful and subtle shades of blue and pink and a clever use of framing, Chimot renders delicately the figure of a young woman in the nude, lying down on what appears to be a bed, with her long hair falling down gracefully over the edge of the bed. This print is in excellent condition; it is signed ‘Chimot’ in pencil on the outer bottom margin of the print, and also signed ‘chimot’ on the bottom edge of the print as part of the plate; and it is professionally framed in a golden painted period frame with carved floral motifs.
