FREDERIC REMINGTON A CHEYENNE BUCK SGD CHROMOLITHOGRAPH C.1901  - $20K APPRAISAL VALUE!   ITEM DESCRIPTION: This circa 1901 colored lithograph was created by Frederic Remington (1861 – 1909). It depicts a Cheyenne Indian gazing forward while riding a horse. It has also gone by the name "The Brave Indian". Stylistically, it is realistic. Frederic Remington was an American painter, illustrator, sculptor, and writer who was known for depicting Old Wild West scenes. The artist's signature and date are on the bottom right, written in pencil. A 1901 copyright note is printed on the bottom left. Its materials are ink on brown archival paper. It is surrounded by a khaki-colored matte inside a maroon wooden frame. The artwork measures overall, with the frame included approximately 20 ½" inches wide, 25 ⅛" inches in height.
