ADELAIDE BORGHI-MAMO RARE PHOTOGRAPH WITH AUTOGRAPHED C.1875- $4K APPRAISAL VALUE!   ITEM DESCRIPTION: Adelaide Borghi-Mamo (Italian 1825-1901) was a renowned mezzo-soprano who had a successful international career from the 1840s to the 1880s. Borghi portrayed Morna in the world premier of Giovanni Pacini's "Malvina di Scozia" in 1951. She married fellow singer, Michele Mamo, a tenor. The pair had a daughter, Erminia Borghi-Mamo, who also enjoyed a successful singing career. The cabinet card photograph here is among the most rare images of the acclaimed diva.This inscription in Italian is accompanied by an early cabinet card photograph and comes professionally framed, with a vintage style matting.
