'ABSTRACT FLOWERS IN A RED VASE'

Oil on CanvasI have loved flowers since I was a very little girl. Humans have a big connection with them. Flowers are given for so many reasons, to demonstrate love, sorrow, friendship, thanks, celebration and so on. A vase of flowers in a room changes the atmosphere and usually for the better. A vase of flowers adds character, joy and worth to a space. My painting is a reflection of those sensibilities expressed in a contemporary way. It is a happy painting and it makes me smile.
