French Commemorative Modernist Abstract Bronze Sculpture. Originated from a Power plant in France. Geometric modernist figure with original gilt and red patina. Marked on base: "FMC Marseille" (full name is Fusion Moulage Concept) was a light metal foundry, located in Marseille, south of France. This company ceased activities in 2000. Marked "Centrale Nucléaire de Golfech - 15 juin 1990" and Saulterre on side of sculpture. This piece was one that was made for the first start of the nuclear reactor of the power station most likely a corporate gift to important VIPs. The monumental sister sculpture of this one is located at the front entrance of the nuclear power station of Golfech in France.
