Gravity Water Filter Replacement: The CeraPlus is our silver-impregnated ceramic DE (diatomaceous earth) shell with granular activated, coconut shell based carbon in the core of the ceramic, the addition of which allows for treatment of chlorine, taste and odor. It is manufactured to remove suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria, cysts, and organic chemicals. The silver impregnated filter, prevents bacteria growth (mitosis), and is self sterilizing. The ceramic shell is manufactured to balance the flow rate and consistent pore size in order to provide maximum filtration efficiency.
