Katalox Light® is a  revolutionary filtration media used for the removal of iron, hydrogen sulfide, manganese and sediment down to 3 microns.  Katalox-Light® is based on Zeosorb® (a high purity natural Aluminosilicate microcrystalline mineral) with a special process impregnated and then coated with MnO2 that can filter particles as small as 2-3 microns. The coating acts as a protective agent for the impregnated substance.   The Katalox Light® granules have an angular shape, rough, high micro-porous surface to filter water down to 2-3 microns.
