Cryptocoryne crispatula var. balansae is a lovely plant native to southern Thailand. Depending on the environment, the leaves are either a lush green or a bronze tint with a ruffled, wavy texture.The Cryptocoryne crispatula var. balansae plant has little maintenance. It thrives in hard water with a high calcium concentration and enjoys moderate to bright light. It requires a good fertilization regimen, which may be complemented with a rich substrate fertilizer, for the best growth. Once established, the plant grows quickly and requires minimal care.
