Portions are approximately 2in x 2in squares Lilaeopsis brasiliensis from South America can grow very compact, and is one of the few low tek carpets that can have a "lawn effect," even with medium powered lighting. When planting in the aquarium, small clumps should be placed 3/4 to 1 inch apart to help the plants grow together more quickly. Place in an open position without shading from other plants to ensure good light.
