Black Kuhli Loach
Black Kuhli Loach The Black Kuhli Loach is similar in structure and behavior the their more common cousins the Banded Kuhli Loach. However Black Kuhli Loaches are about twice the size and feature a solid charcoal color. Like all Kuhli Loaches, these exotic Asian oddballs are most active at twilight and at nighttime both in nature and in the home aquarium. They are easily kept with non-aggressive fish like, Corydoras, Danios, Rasboras, and Tetras. Since they are relatively small, they do well in a nano and mid-size tank, and are safe with small cichlids but larger cichlids and eels might go after them.
