Beckett's Water Trumpet (Cryptocoryne becketti) is a superb low-light plant known for producing tube-shaped flowers when it grows above the water line!   Beckett's Water Trumpet (Cryptocoryne becketti) is a fairly large plant that occurs throughout much of Asia. It can grow to a substantial size, so it is an excellent plant for the medium to large aquarium. It requires stable conditions, especially when newly established, but is not demanding otherwise.   Beckett's Water Trumpet is a slow-growing plant that requires low to moderate lighting. It should be placed in an area of the aquarium where it can be allowed to establish over time. Due to its wide natural range, it can adapt to a relatively wide variety of water parameters as long as it does not have to endure sudden changes. Like most Cryptocoryne species, it should be allowed plenty of time to “settle in” and should not be moved constantly. Once established, it will reproduce by sending runners that will grow into new plants.   CO
