Olive Jade Mystery Snails (Pomacea bridgesii) - Tank-Bred!

This less common mystery snail boasts a gold shell with a black body, resulting in a greenish-gold overall appearance! These large and striking snails are great for adding some color to your aquarium, but they also serve some very useful purposes.  They clean algae off of glass, plants, and decorations, they eat hair algae, and they keep your substrate clean and the correct color.  They are totally safe with any fish, shrimp, or plants, and are completely peaceful.  These snails are quite large as adults, growing up to 3 inches in diameter!    All Olive Jade Mystery Snails' shells feature stunning gold coloration.  Their bodies are reminiscent of black opals, as they are a very dark, almost black color with iridescent markings that are truly breathtaking when they catch the light.
