The bamboo shrimp is naturally found in Indonesia, where the Moluccas archipelago forms, but has been also found in Thailand, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. These shrimp are super peaceful and can grow to about 3.5". Although they are big, they should never be kept with dominant or aggressive fish - a peaceful, community tank is always the best environment for them to thrive. They have an orange-brown coloration with some marbling and striping along the body.
