Description As it diffuses light in all directions, each ethereal globe that tops one of Bertjan Pot's floor lamps is unique and never completely round. Random's production process starts with a resin-dipped yarn that is casually coiled around an inflated beach ball, creating a translucent 3D sphere. After deflating and extracting the ball, the seemingly haphazard lines lend a gauzy transparency to the form, perched on its ultra-slim steel base.
