The Microwave Probe Receiver gives a localized, precise signal that finds particular application in identifying areas of peak and low amplitude in microwave interference, reflection and refraction experiments. There are two controls, one for sensitivity and the other for volume of output to the internal loudspeaker. Quantitative measurements can be taken using the 4 mm banana plugs outputs connected to an oscilloscope. For use with the Microwave Transmitter (97-6401).
