Microwave Transmitter

The Microwave Transmitter utilizes a Schottky diode oscillator module feeding a tuned waveguide and horn to give a directional microwave beam. Wave motion experiments can be demonstrated in a unique and engaging way by using this transmitter and associated receivers in conjunction with familiar wave study apparatuses like polarizers and slits.  The beam is modulated with a variable frequency audio signal which can be adjusted by the control on the top panel. For use with Microwave Receiver (97-6402) and/or Microwave Probe Receiver (97-6403).
