Employing fake drums, samplers, tape machines, and a casual approach to songwriting, the duo’s ‘product-placement-punk’ has gained a sleeper cell following of discerning teenagers and in-the-know retail employees. On paper “Think It Over” is deeply uncool. Yet somehow the digital harpsichord, 90s Rap Kit, and DX trumpet make capital bedfellows.
