Featuring a handkerchief halter dress with Warli embroidery work on the upper bust. About the embroidery: Warli art is believed to be one of the oldest forms of art in history. It is a form of tribal art which owes it origin to the State of Maharashtra. The Warli work has been hand painted by artisans. The designer, Archana Kochhar, was hand picked by our Hon Prime Minister Narendra Modi to affiliate with him on the Make in Indian campaign for this art form. Warli art has also been launched at the New York Fashion Week by the designer.
