Kansas City Map Print

Since Kansas City exists without any coastline to contain it, the metro area has oozed far from the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas Rivers. So, we went beyond the city limits and chose to include a wider-than-normal composition. Complicating things, Kansas City Kansas (KCK) sits intimately beside KCMO. It's technically (and culturally) a different city in a different state, but sharing a name and metro area necessitated it staying on the map. An even more complicated angle is the city's racial dividing line, Troost, breaking the city into further pieces. It's really hard to say where the place starts and ends. These disparate parts of the metro area makes composing this place particularly difficult.
