A boxed set of 12 cream-colored embossed cards, featuring designs by William Morris. This boxed set contains 3 cards each of 4 designs and 1 dozen white envelopes. The four floral designs embossed on these notecards were part of larger patterns printed or woven on cotton, silk, or linen by Morris & Company. Morris's works are now considered exemplary of the Arts and Crafts movement and important to the development of Art Nouveau. The cards are 4 3/4 inches square and require extra US postage when mailing.
