Nahuala Universe Orange Multi Pillow

This textile was woven by an artisan from the village of Nahuala, Guatemala using a back-strap loom, a time honored method of weaving. The pattern represents one of Nahuala’s traditional geometric designs. This pillow was made in partnership with a non-profit organization on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Why do we call it the universe pillow? Because the motif symbolises the universe in Maya hand-weaving tradition.
