Rifle Engagements Phase 1 This rifle class will help you become more familiar with your AR-15-style rifle. We will show you how to operate your carbine safely, efficiently, and professionally. This is a basic carbine course designed for the beginner who has never taken a professional carbine course. The course will cover but is not limited to: Knowing and understanding your mechanical offset.-Targets will be at 50 yds and in.-Majority of class will be at 25 yards and in.-Proper way to load and unload your rifle.-Malfunctions and reloads.-Carry positions and ready positions.-Standing, kneeling and urban prone shooting positions.-Safety and medical brief.
