Altan Box

Arranged in an attractive linear geometric pattern, our Altan Box brings a modern flair to any décor with bone tiles in neutral white and cream color tones. Crafted in India from engineered hardwood inlaid with bone tiles and a protective resin lacquer topcoat. Bone inlays are selected, shaped, polished, and smoothed by hand, before being placed carefully, one at a time. Bone used on each box is ethically and sustainably sourced from naturally deceased water buffalo, which roam the streets and countryside of India. As our artisans are non-violent and strict vegetarians, each piece is constructed without conflict.
