Etsuji Noguchi KH Würtz Square Vase

Created during Noguchi's residency at KH Würtz in Denmark, the studio known for creating ceramics for Noma and other renowned restaurants, this collection reflects the synthesis of techniques and sensibilities Noguchi has gathered across his practice in Japan and abroad. Based in Kagoshima, Japan, Noguchi apprenticed under master ceramicist Takashi Nakazato and has built wood-fired kilns internationally. He describes his aesthetic as "calm and powerful, primitive and modern," creating vessels designed to support what they hold rather than demand attention.
