French-born painter Phillipine de Richmont is the daughter of artists. Raised surrounded by art and beauty, she began creating from a young age. Working now out of Anjou, France and New York City and drawing on her ballet background, she makes soulful paintings rooted in movement, using color to create visual memory, and black and white to create light.   This India ink and pigment piece, Kneedown, is a one of a kind piece created exclusively for ARJÉ.
