Lebes

Since 2016, Spanish artists Raquel Vidal and Pedro Paz have been creating one-of-a-kind sculptures by hand under the moniker CANOA out of their studio in Valencia. Of their creations they say their work is "not defined by a concrete movement but is shaped by the sum of them, as a kind of palimpsest."   Lebes is a handmade artisan textured sculptural vase perfect for Mediterranean-inspired floral arrangements. This glazed handbuilt vessel is made from stoneware with grog from Manises, Spain, and brushed with experimental glazes and a textured surface, resulting in slight variations with each piece. Each piece feels somehow ancient, timeless, and modern at once.    This piece is made to order.
