Pedestal III Ceramic Sculpture

Pedestal III Ceramic Sculpture, by Zeynep Boyan, is a one-of-a kind ceramic sculpture. Made by hand using pinching, coiling, and slabbing techniques, it is a part of her  ongoing unique Pedestal Series where each piece inspires the next and is an opportunity to experiment with different glazes.   Zeynep is a self-taught artist and designer born in Adana and based in Montréal. Her creations, rooted in Mediterranean culture, carry the fluidity of effortless style while also paying homage to the organic forms found in nature. She describes her work as a culmination of her background, surrounding habitat, and visual memory.   This abstract one-of-a-kind piece is the perfect accent to add artistry to your book case or your mantle piece.
