Side Table No.I ,by Zeynep Boyan, is a totem inspired sculptural accent piece crafted from stoneware clay. Entirely sculpted by hand without a mold using traditional coiling techniques, it is part of a limited edition series.   Zeynep is a self-taught artist and designer born in Adana and based in Montréal. Her creations, rooted in Mediterranean culture, carry the fluidity of effortless style while also paying homage to the organic forms found in nature. She describes her work as a culmination of her background, surrounding habitat, and visual memory.   This sculptural piece can be used in a various ways; as a side table, a pedestal, a stool, or a decorative accent piece on its own to bring personality and a mediterranean warmth to any room. Regardless of how it is positioned, whether upside down or right side up or stacked, the potential of this piece is open to your interpretation.
