Nubia, which is located in southern Egypt, has a rich history that goes back to 3000 BC. Egyptian Papyrus Paper Our papyrus paper is handmade in Egypt from the inner stem of the finest Cyperus Papyrus plants. Our suppliers responsibly grow their own plants, then use the inner stems to make the thin strips form which the final papyrus sheets are formed. The sheets are formed by arranging the strips side by side in two cross layers, then soaking them in water for six to twelve weeks. The sheets are then hammered to squeez
