Basic Beginner Sock Class

*** This is an in-person class at ArkansasYarnCo on October 25th, 2025 *** This is the first step of our sock class series. In this class, you will learn the basic construction of a sock in magic loop on size US1 32" needles. Techniques you will learn: How to make a sock cuff How to knit a heel flap and gusset How to measure your sock for foot length Toe decreases Kitchener Stitch bind off Prerequisites for this course: Know how to Knit and Purl Know how to long tail cast on Know how to knit in the round using Magic Loop method Materials that will be provided to you: One 20g mini from ArkansasYarnCo One Chiaogoo 32" US1 Circular Needle 4 locking stitch markers  One ArkansasYarnCo Tape Measure Basic Sock Pattern Materials you should bring or purchase: Darning Needle Scissors Class Hours: 10/25: 10:30am - 2:30 pm
