Beginner Brioche Class with Tori

This is an in-person class at ArkansasYarnCo on May 17th from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm Brioche knitting is a distinctive knitted ribbing technique that is recognizable by its heightened, doughy texture. The fabric is achieved by alternating columns of slipped stitches with yarn overs and knit stitches or purl stitches.  Come learn how to confidently knit basic two-color brioche rib, understand brioche abbreviations, and begin a simple project like a scarf or cowl with Tori! You must know: Knit and Purl stitches how to yarn over You will Need: 2 skeins DK Weight yarn in contrasting colors (wool blend) 24" Circular Needles - US 7 Homework: Cast on 36 stitches Knit 4 rows in one color (garter stitch)
