Our Speed Line Base Pads are designed for optimal handling characteristics in dynamic shooting sports. This Base Pad for Sig Sauer does this best; improve magazine handling speed and precision of your Sig P226, X5 or LDC pistol. It also adds +2 rounds to increase the magazine capacity from 17 to 19 using the stock magazine springs, but the superb handling and grip is what truly makes this base pad a worthwhile upgrade. The bottom of this plate is flat with a special gripping tape for excellent grip and longer lifespan since the bottom of the magazine usually takes the most damage when dropped in dynamic sports such as IPSC. Precise cuts and grooves are machined across 3 sides to aid in the fastest and most precise reloads with one hand. All these details contribute to a very solid grip. No other modifications nor any special tools are required for installation. The base pad joins to the magazine with a tight fit. True tool-less disassembly. Made in our EU factory from aircraft grade, 7075 aluminium. Legal for IPSC production AND standard division (fits IPSC box) and IDPA. Compatible with Sig Sauer and Mec-Gar magazines.
